One more day until it's over....

susandennisThe Superbowl will be over tomorrow and, it looks like, so will BedGate 2014. The delivery people just called 3 times. I have 2 phones and a computer within my reach here - all of which, when working correctly, answer the phone. I usually answer with the computer because 1. It's free and 2. it's handier. But today, the computer had lost it's sound and I didn't know it. So the next call I tried the computer, realized the sound problem and tried the phone and didn't get there in time. The third time, I fumblefingered the new phone.
Nothing sharp about me today!!! The calls came in from different numbers but all local so I called the first one back and, sure enough, it was the delivery company and they were just about to give up on me. Tomorrow from 2-4. I sent the new building manager a note apologizing for being so flaky. If someone is moving in or out, the elevator will be in use and I told him, we'd just wait our turn (and, of course, I will go down and beg the movers for an early turn) otherwise, it's a matter of putting up the padding which I can do with a ladder if I need to.
So, really, honestly, I think it's going to be a done deal tomorrow. Whew.
Now I'm watching the kitten bowl. It's very cute to see the kittens playing. The TV is on mute because they have very uncute people talking over the playing.
In about an hour, I'm going to head out to Costco.
There are still screaming fans outside. I do hope that tomorrow they remember the game is over and go home - at least for a while.
