Love fest on 2nd

susandennisI'm watching all of the Baltimore Orioles hug Palmero on 2nd base after he hit his 3,000th career hit - a double. They just stopped the game and let everybody revel a bit. A nice moment.
Now we are back to the Mariners sucking. Same old same old.
I got home this afternoon to discover that my router had decided to die. No bits coming or going. I hooked the DSL modem direct to the computer and we've got action. I called my ISP and the guy there said that my modem is from the stone age and I'd better replace it anyway and Qwest's replacement modem have wireless included. So... On to Qwest. New modem on the way. Double the line speed for $2.00 a month less than was I was paying. My ISP is going to charge me $50 more year for the new speed so it's nearly a wash except for buying the new modem. I got the stone age modem for free way back when I first got DSL and US West was having a special.
So no wireless until next Thursday. No biggie except I need to hook up the two networked TiVos to telephone lines so the can get updates. That's a no brainer.
BIG teeth news... I can chew!!! Really. Seriously. I can chew. I don't think I'd take on a wad of bubble gum, but I'll betcha I could handle a ham sandwich. I tested it out with crackers for dinner. Much happy.
I also picked up the funky mouth rinse at the drug store. I love it when the pharmacist insists on reading you the instructions that are on the label. TWICE A DAY... RINSE... DO NO SWALLOW.... Got it. Thanks. I have no patience. None.
As a reward I bought myself some Spiderman Toothpaste.
