Inside out looks
Jul. 16th, 2005 01:26 pmLong time readers might note that the photograph I use here changes all the time. The days of the photo du jour may well be over. The problem is that I have been unable to capture on camera, what I think I look like. Yes, there is much denial. I am not georgous, but the camera adds even more elements creating pictures that really don't look like me.
Until today. I was futzing around and checking on computer stuff when I happened on my own webcam page and saw me. And it looked like me! And I snagged a copy and it's what you see and what you will probably see from now on. Cool.
I still love the one

So you might see it from time to time because it just makes me happy. But, otherwise today's is the one I'm going with...
In other news...
I did walk. It was hotter than it looked. I also got a way later than usual start and I'd forgotten about the tourists. They were out in full and it was fun to see them all enjoying my city.
Plus, I ran into my friend, Susan, who is the office manager for the start up I used to work for. She was on her way into the new offices to catch up on stuff so she took me up for a tour. And, wow. This outfit has purchased and furnished elegant office space. The current population (which is nearly double what it was when I left in February of 2004) fills about 20% of the space. Clearly, they are expecting a way big future. I hope for them the best. And I am so glad I am not working there!
I did not get great pix but I did get the Lusty Lady. This is just across the street from the Seattle Art Museum. It's owned by a woman and a fun business. Every Thursday, they change the marquee. If you submit a marquee saying they use, you get a t-shirt that says "Have an Erotic Day".
