I used to go way too long between sheet changing because getting that fitted sheet in guaranteed the back of my hands got even more ugly blood bruises as they hit the sharp corner of the bed frame. But, my new bed went from PIA to heaven in one LJ comment from
kyrielle. She told me to raise up the foot and head as high as it can go, slip the sheet on and then grab the remote and hit 'flat'.
Seriously, changing the sheets is now amazing. My hands don't get near the frame. I don't have to bend over one bit. And setting the bed back to flat and watching that sheet get taut and wrinkle free just tickles me to bits. Genius!

Re: bed model
Date: 2014-02-18 10:34 pm (UTC)I'm happy to share the bed info.
Here is the actual adjustable base part:
http://www.lpadjustablebeds.com/d-222.asp
And the mattress (which I really like) is:
http://www.bedroomsandmore.com/images/products/mattress/45th-street-mattresses/two-sided-latex-mattress-woodlawn-extra-firm.htm
You might be able to use your mattress on an adjustable base.
Good luck and check back if you run into questions I might can help with!
