Adventure planning
Feb. 26th, 2014 08:35 pmOn TV tonight I saw where they are having the annual sewing show at the Washington State Fair Grounds. I would not mind going at all BUT... it's an hour pretty much from here in the car and once I get there, it's a long walk from parking to the show and I'm afraid I'd get there and get tot he first booth and start worrying about whether I'd have enough energy/breath to get back to the car and get home. It's just too far and I'm not motivated enough.
So then I thought about other ways to get out and get a little exercise. And I remembered there is, in the morning, a bus that goes from fairly near here right up 1st Avenue to that sweet little french place - http://lepichetseattle.com/ - I could take the bus there for breakfast. And then walk to the Pike Place Market where it will be too cold to be just jammed with tourists so I could wander a bit. Maybe stop by and annoy
badrobot68 for a few minutes and then wander on home, stopping at the bakery for some of that good bread.
I'm pretty sure I can make it all the way if I don't try to haul ass. And it is downhill.
I'm kind of jazzed about the idea.
