It's hot and I'm not happy about it. I'm grateful to have an inside, sit down job. I'm thinking snow.

Yes, General Westmoreland is dead. When I called Mom this morning she was too busy to talk. But, I suspect, she's already tired of the subject. She does not have the same feelings about him that I do. Rather, she focuses on Kitsey, his wife, who is a snot and a snob and full of herself and still very much alive and holding court.

Old people dying at 'the home' ain't that unusual.

It does crack me up when an obit of a person who was over 90 years old carries the line 'cause of death unknown.' Let me lay some odds on that one...

My eVac from Sharper Image might be here on Thursday... They are so very nice to deal with on the phone but I sure wish I didn't have to.

My chaise lounge comes tomorrow. At least that when it was promised for delivery. I sure hope it makes it.

I ordered two new pairs of crocs - lime and chocolate. Two weeks ago. No sign they will ever be shipped. The crocs people do not have their shit together. At all.

Tooth update: Better still today. There is one spot that feels different and I finally got out the mirrors last night. It's still more stitches. Jesus, that guy loves to sew! My healing is beginning to feel like the 'are we there yet' of childhood car trips. Nope. We aren't there yet.

I'm trying to try out yet another remote access thing - LogMeIn. I put the software on my desktop at home last night. Today I tried to get in there from work and discovered it wants - in addition to the LogMeIn account name and password - it wants the computer's (administrator's) name and password. Beats the fuck out of me! I gave it my best guess - es... and it finally locked me out. I appreciate the security... I can probably figure it out when I get home tonight and then I'll try again from here tomorrow.

And that's all I know so far. Stay tuned. This could change.

You have, um, different ideas about what "hot" means, at least as far as I can tell from what weather.com tells me about current Seattle weather. (Although it looks like it will be quite warm -- not what I would call "hot" -- tomorrow.) Even the 84F predicted for Thursday would be considered a welcome relief in the Boston area right about now.

Yes, yes... it's all relative and you guys will think it's perfect! It's only Seattle hot which is also known as 'refreshing' in most of the rest of the country this time of year.

Flavors and ... Crocs. I actually ordered 4 pair. The other two are fuchia and coral... And they are all listed as 'pending fulfillment'... talk about pent up demand.
