Am I am healer over achiever?
Mar. 7th, 2014 09:38 amThis morning I feel way way way better. There are still store spots when I poke them with my tongue but wow. It's a huge difference. I woke up about 4 and it hurt even then so I took a couple of ibuprofen and went back to sleep. I slept really well all night (I LOVE this adjustable bed) and now - 9 am - I feel so much better that it's amazing. No leaden face, no throbbing. It almost feels like I could chew if I were really careful. Maybe I can eat the dinner I took out of the freezer on Tuesday (pork chops with pears and potatoes).
Maybe I can even go swimming. The West Seattle pool opens at noon. Maybe.
I do need to walk over to the post office. But, that's about it for half to's.
I am so lucky to have the time and means to wallow in recovery. And it looks like I might just beat that Bad Day 4 with my Bad Day 2 and call it good from here on out.
I got two prescriptions filled this week with my new insurance. Neither were expensive but I was only charged about 20% of the cost. Yeah. The two I had filled via Walgreens mail order are still 'in process' and the insurance website does not yet show any claims so I was not sure my insurance had really kicked in. But now I know it has. And that means that at least for a year and maybe longer as long as Premera does what I need, I may not have to worry about insurance shit again! Whew.
