John and Robert, according to the United website, got a bit of a late start. Their plane was supposed to leave Boston at 4:55 but actually left at 6:15.

Oh well... guess I'll keep my eye on that before I leave the house. I'm going to try Seatac's newest parking lot - it's a free cell phone waiting lot. The deal is you go and park there and stay in your call until your passengers call you then you swoop in and pick 'em off the curb. Cool idea - we'll see if it works. Their 7:15 arrival is now 8:39.

Jake kicked Betty off the chaise a while ago. I just went back to the 'fish' room and see that she has now commandeered the window seat bed. Take that, Jake!

My teeth are hurting again tonight like they did last night. What's up with that? They were fine today. Weird. I did get an email today that my dental insurance will automatically renew next month and is going up 15%. The coverage remains the same, however. Then when I got home I had a print out from said insurance company. My initial visit - xrays, etc. was $180. The insurance covered $65 of it. Guess who's canceling?

Back to the chaise for me - move over Jake!

The cell phone parking lot is an awesome idea. The one thing to keep in mind is this: it's the tiny parking lot in front of the Doug Fox parking lot, not the parking lot itself. If you enter the big parking lot, it's going to cost you money... :)

Airport pick-up

I do something similar here by default. There is a supermarket parking lot about 3 minutes from the airport which also has a clear view of rwy 23R & L approach. When I see a plane with the correct markings making for the runway, I know when to expect my pax to call.

No reason in the world why that wouldn't be perfect. I just never thought of it. It's been about a bascillion years since I've driven to the airport to pick anyone up. This lot is really very close to the entrance and was very handy.

Cell phone parking lot=brilliant!!

When I finally decided was semi-forced into getting dental work done, I looked into the dental insurance, and was convinced it was a rip off.
