My son saw this picture and he was impressed with how many you made. He was curious how many bears you have made total since you have started doing this? (he is a kid who is very much into numbers and statistics)

I started in June of 2005. For the first year I probably only made 10 a month. But after that it's been between 20-25 every month. EXCEPT there was one year when I made critters instead (like the picture below) for several months. So probably you should subtract about 60 from the total.
Now, let's see what we've got. My calculator says....
2000 and change - ish. But, probably he should check my math.
Yes, there are some new colors and... it's a new brand of yarn that is cost effective, washable, the right size and has LOTS of fabulous colors. Plus, yesterday I got in an order and, turns out, it also has a line of very soft, kind of fuzzy stuff I'm looking forward to trying.
The cat is actually a bunny. The bears said that as long as it was a one off they were cool with it.
