Ok so now I have phone buddies

I got a conference call tonight!

A woman and 2 guys at least. They didn't sound like they were all in the same place and the number was a 661 area code (Petaluma) but more than likely a cellphone or service.  I don't know anyone there.

They were very pleasant and respectful. They let me know immediately that they were watching me by telling me that the Jeopardy song (which I had just finished watching) was loud.  They asked me why I had webcams in the first place and I told them and they seemed ok with that. They asked me if I ever forgot about the webcam and did embarrassing stuff. I assured them that if I care what people saw I would not have the webcams at all. They were ok with with that, too.

It wasn't a long conversation and it was kind of a pleasant one.  I'm not wild about phone chats but if people have to call, this was the way to do it.  Short and sweet and nice.

Unless there's more than one Petaluma, 661 is not the area code. Petaluma is in the southern part of my county and our area code is 707.

661 is the area code for Bakersfield, Mojave, Santa Clarita, Palmdale and South Central California.

I do think webcams are fascinating, but I get bored if nobody is naked. :)

I've toyed with the idea of getting one some day to spy on my cat when I'm not there.

When I check in, briefly, sometimes I'm tempted to comment but feel a little weird. I say briefly and it usually is brief, but I have to admit I eavesdropped on a whole visit with neighbor Anne some time ago. I couldn't resist being nosy Nancy. The good thing about me? I have absolutely no recollection of what you discussed.

I don't know what your callers' deal is but I'm glad they were polite and didn't upset you. Did they tell you anything at all about themselves?

I love that you listened in on me and Ann!! For reasons I do not know, I think it's hilarious.

One time I sneezed and I got an SMS from a friend saying 'God Bless You'. I peed in my pants laughing at that one.

This troop really gave me no clues. And they really were nice.

I love knowing you are out there checking in now and again, I really do.
