Good morning from the dark

susandennisThe power was supposed to go off at 3 am but it didn't until 5:45. It got instantly hot and stuffy when the ceiling fan went off. I finally got back to sleep and slept until my phone alarm went off at 7. Sadly, it did not kick the radio on like it should have but, a bit of fiddling got NPR. I set the phone to be a hotspot to get internet to my laptop.
So, here I sit in the hot and dark, listening to the news. They promised lights back on by 8. It's 7:37. I want my fan back on and my coffee.
Also I just realized that I'll miss the beginning of CBS Sunday Morning and that's a real bitch cause I think it's the design show. GRRRR
After I get juice back, I think I'll make some breakfast here. The baseball game is on at 11. And that's about it for the day.
The next power outage is tomorrow at 3 am and it lasts until 6. I think I'm going to move my car from the garage to the street this evening. I don't want to take a chance on not being able to get out of the garage in time to get to the pool tomorrow. There are no games or much of anything going on in the neighborhood so there should be plenty of parking which is free on Sundays.
