Turned out to cost half of what I suspected and be twice as great a finished project.  But, honestly, it's exhausting to watch someone work!  And Ann came in for a bit.  And then, after she left, another neighbor came in and started in bitching about other neighbors. Happily with both, I was called to help with the work and they left.

There was enough paint to patch and it worked out perfectly.

I did have a bit of a panic when I went to get my checkbook. The checkbook wallet had checks from the bank I left last year. arugh!!  Happily, the checkbook for the current bank was fairly easy to find. And, I realized that since I opened the account, last year, I had not written one single check.

I could have charged the work to my credit card but my brother has taught me to be kind to small businesses and pay the way they prefer.  My haircutter has a tasteful little sign asking for cash so I make sure I always have cash when I go.  Amyworks says they prefer checks so that's what they got.

Next up Boston game.

Yes, I'm happy, too. Good to see everything is back up, safe and sound. That's a good solution to the hanging problem, too.

By the way, I finished watching the excellent last two episodes of Fargo. I felt the ending was quite satisfying and the whole series was equally as good as the movie.
