sleepy-itis
Aug. 19th, 2014 08:09 pmThis morning, I didn't feel all that great. I got better before time to swim and swimming was fine. I got home and at lunch and then got so sleepy, that I couldn't keep my eyes open. I slept for an out and woke up groggy. I hate naps. But now, at 8, I'm dying of sleepy again. I just had some ice cream that woke me up a little but I think I'm going to give up soon. If I wake up at 3 am because I've had too much sleep, no big deal. Being retired without responsibilities has some serious upsides.
I did manage two loads of laundry and changed the sheets on the bed so I haven't been a total slug. Just a half slug.
Oh and the toilet guy finally called. I had already decided that I don't need a new toilet. It's a waste of money. Pus, I don't like this guy's toilets. So I told him the job was being postponed. I did contact my handy woman outfit to ensure they will pick up the new toilet, replace the old one and haul it away whenever I am ready. She suggested Home Depot or Lowes and said they particularly like American Standard. Yahoo!! American Standard makes the one I really want - 2 different flushes - flush buttons top.
So, when I can't stand my old one any more or when it dies, I have a plan that I can fire up without issue anytime. (Oh and I don't have to worry about registering a new vendor with the building management - Amyworks has been out here in my unit and others bunches of times.)
Now back to TV for maybe a little longer.
