I slept like a freakin' rock last night and woke up this morning to find my my pleurisy was almost very nearly gone. In retrospect, I'm now thinking that I must have somehow pulled a muscle without knowing it.  I can still feel it a little but mostly, it's soooo much better. I can move, breathe, cough, talk and... best of all, swim like a fish. Yeah!

I found out this morning that one of my favorite morning lifeguards is moving to evenings. Poop. Another one who used to work at my pool and is very nice is coming back to take her place mornings so that makes it a little ok. The big changes really only  happen for the Summer when they have to staff the two outdoor pools and all the beaches.  So we're cool now, probably till next Summer.

This week I'm going to call some places about window blinds. I'm not entirely convinced I'm going to actually do anything but I am going to look into it and get the dets.  I'm also probabaly going buy a new induction burner. With the help of Chef Anita, I think I've found a good one but Amazon does not sell it or anything comparable and I'm not 100% comfy with the customer service/return policy of the place that does sell it.

I also need to call about that annuity. They do not appear to have done one thing about my withdrawal request. I think I need to call and see if they can even confirm they got the fax.

And, the dirty clothes hamper is full.

It's going to be too hot to go anywhere today so my plan is to stay in and stay cool.

I do admit, I had to look up pleurisy. Had no clue what it was until a few minute ago. Is it something that stays with you? Can it be cured or is it just one that can be treated?

and too hot? I'm in the Midwest and we only have 55 degrees right now at 11:37am

I don't know your age (re-read your bio, now I know) and size since we just "met on the net" here. But I will assume you are taller than 5 foot?

I'm in my early 40's and I get a bit worried when something doesn't work like it used to. So you have all right to be a bit "dramic" as you say.

One thing I have had for over a decade (Ugh that sounds old!), is ulcerative colitis and I have appointment coming up...hoping no ulcers/gallbladder and in hopes a short while back ago, that I only had indigestion (crosses fingers).

Mid 70's is perfect weather for me as well.

I don't think I would wish either one of these on anyone. Mine is more of a "mild case". However when I have "one of those days" and have to go somewhere, I scope out where the restroom is just in case. It's no fun because when you gotta, you gotta. But I TRY not to let it control me and do what I got to do each day.

No offense, but I think I would freak out more on not being able to breathe well. I wish no one had to go through that!

Thanks for the link by the way.

Did you decide on lessons at the pool for the items you outlined in earlier posts?
