A new week!
Sep. 15th, 2014 09:19 amI slept like a freakin' rock last night and woke up this morning to find my my pleurisy was almost very nearly gone. In retrospect, I'm now thinking that I must have somehow pulled a muscle without knowing it. I can still feel it a little but mostly, it's soooo much better. I can move, breathe, cough, talk and... best of all, swim like a fish. Yeah!
I found out this morning that one of my favorite morning lifeguards is moving to evenings. Poop. Another one who used to work at my pool and is very nice is coming back to take her place mornings so that makes it a little ok. The big changes really only happen for the Summer when they have to staff the two outdoor pools and all the beaches. So we're cool now, probably till next Summer.
This week I'm going to call some places about window blinds. I'm not entirely convinced I'm going to actually do anything but I am going to look into it and get the dets. I'm also probabaly going buy a new induction burner. With the help of Chef Anita, I think I've found a good one but Amazon does not sell it or anything comparable and I'm not 100% comfy with the customer service/return policy of the place that does sell it.
I also need to call about that annuity. They do not appear to have done one thing about my withdrawal request. I think I need to call and see if they can even confirm they got the fax.
And, the dirty clothes hamper is full.
It's going to be too hot to go anywhere today so my plan is to stay in and stay cool.

Date: 2014-09-15 04:45 pm (UTC)But, to answer your question... pleurisy goes away. It hurts like hell and depending on the cause it can take a while to go away but it does.
And... yes, it's too hot. But, again, drama. I hate heat. Today is supposed to get to the high 80s. But tomorrow it should be in the mid 70's and clear sailing to winter from there so whew. 55 degrees is actually my personal sweet spot!!

Date: 2014-09-15 05:11 pm (UTC)I'm in my early 40's and I get a bit worried when something doesn't work like it used to. So you have all right to be a bit "dramic" as you say.
One thing I have had for over a decade (Ugh that sounds old!), is ulcerative colitis and I have appointment coming up...hoping no ulcers/gallbladder and in hopes a short while back ago, that I only had indigestion (crosses fingers).
Mid 70's is perfect weather for me as well.

Date: 2014-09-15 05:28 pm (UTC)Now you have just made me feel grateful for lung issues. ulcerative colitis sounds like a nightmare to me.
I read the most delightful book recently and the protagonist was similarly afflicted. If you are a fiction reader, you might check out American Fuji. http://www.sarabacker.com/

Date: 2014-09-15 05:49 pm (UTC)No offense, but I think I would freak out more on not being able to breathe well. I wish no one had to go through that!
Thanks for the link by the way.
