susandennisLast night it was cold in my bedroom enabling me to make my comforter into a coccoon and burrow into it. And I slept better than I have in ages. Sleeping in the cold just wins.
Being able to comfortably wear long sleeves enables me to hide the ugly blood bruises on my arms.
When I get too cold, I can add layers to get comfortable.
I am just a lover of cold.

The hamper I use to collect stuff for Goodwill is getting full. Time to make a run. The library has a CD on hold for me. I need to stop by and pick that up. Both of these things are on the way to the pool. So I think I'll likely knock them both off this morning.

I have this sudden passion for crochet. I keep looking up patterns and have accummulated a few skeins of yarn that is not suitable for bears or hexagons.
I used to have this friend who dabbled in woodwork. He was always so frustrated by my knitting in that I could, at any point, ravel out my work and reuse the yarn. But if he made a wrong cut in his wood he was done for. So far, I have started and raveled about 4 things. Part of it is that I'm not that good at crochet. It's a little like a foreign language that is kind of like my native one but just a little different. But, it's fun to fiddle.
I do still have a bear calling and I'm way too far into the hexagon deal to drop it now. So... many projects at once

Zoey just climbed into my lap for a snuggle. And then the first of the many fire alarm tests started. Sigh. Guess it's time to get up and do something.
