Stupid and old

I have a sore shoulder/neck. My left shoulder/neck. So when the pharmacist asked me which arm, I said, I don't care and he zero'd in on my left arm. And, since I'm 65 I got the superduper flu shot which, he said, sometimes produces stronger side effects. I just laughed him off. I don't get side effects. 

Soooooo now my entire left side hurts and I feel like crap.  Good thing I don't have anything I have to do. The way I feel now, I might even skip swimming tomorrow morning. Ugh.

You and my husband. We got our shots last night and I feel great, but he was complaining that his entire arm ached last night. I'm anxious to see how he feels this morning.

flu shots

Always move your arm after getting the shot, don't let it sit in the same position for too long, keep it moving...

Hmm. I don't remember this effect from my last shot. meanwhile, jwg tried to be a good citizen and schedule his flu shot, but our HMO told him they didn't have the over-65 version yet, call back in a few weeks.

When I got my flu shot this year, I got a huge inflammation at the site and then ached for a week. Ugh. Still, I'd do it again. I catch every doggoned upper respiratory junk that breezes through town -- except the flu. I've been inoculated every year.
