Clean Friday

There's a certain amount of gear I use every day at the pool. Goggles and stuff but also shower stuff. I keep it all in a nice canvas bag I got at Walmart. It generally lives in the car. I only bring my towel and suit inside to dry every day. It's the perfect bag but... it's now filthy and moldy and disgusting. Today I bought it up from the car and am going to see if a good washing will fix it.

If not, I am going to Walmart tomorrow and, hopefully, will find a replacement.

Also on the hit parade today is regular laundry. The hamper is full.

My new knitting needles are Out For Delivery. I'm excited. I've never had interchangeable needles before. I can't way to play.

Zoey is sucking all of my motivation to get out of this bed out of me. She's snuggled up against my knees and wrapped around the keyboard.

I know this is unrelated but I know I've seen some sort of egg muffin baked breakfast thingy on your journal. Care to share the basic recipe??

Ahhhh my famous quiche muffins! Sure. It's a really anything goes recipe but here's how I've been throwing it together lately:

10 eggs
1/2 cup milk or cream or half and half
1/2 cup bisquix
3-4 cups shredded cheese
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Mix it all together and pour it into highly greased muffin tin and then cook at 350 for 45-55 minutes.

Now, 10 eggs can by 9 or 12. The milk and bixquix can be half a cup-ish. I generally use up all the cheese I have on hand which could be 3 or 4 generous handful - usually jack or cheddar or a mix. Sometimes I throw in bacon bits or sausage cumbles. Once I did mushroom pieces.

It's a very difficult recipe to fuck up.

The muffins freeze and thaw beautifully.

Sounds good. I wonder what I could substitute for the Bisquick? I'm attempting to go low carb...

Don't forget to NOT dryer the canvas! I've ruined many a canvas bag by shrinking it in the dryer :(

I knew you liked Android and Chromebooks, but I couldn't figure out how you used "googles" and such at the pool until I realized it was a typo :-).

I don't want to risk transferring the mold onto my clothes. Plus it needs bleach and stain treatment and hot water.
