Today's swim was so much better than Wednesday's. Only the most considerate of lane sharers. One of the regulars is pregnant and her due date is today. She still came to swim much to everyone's amusement and delight. Plus her wife came to pick her up. It was fun to finally meet her non-swimming wife. I do wonder when we'll see Sara again. She whistles in the shower which is always so delightful.

My new haircut has now survived two swims and damn if that woman did not create a haircut that requires even less maintenance! I wash, I towel dry and I'm done. It looks great. Delightful.

I think today will be sheet changing and laundry doing.

Last night I started a pair of fingerless gloves. My crocheting is getting better. One fun thing about crocheting is that you can way more successfully design as you go. Successful knitting takes a lot more planning and math. I'm stealing time away from bears which I don't like quite so much. But it is fun to knit some old familiar and way more fast and perfect bear after trying and failing and retrying and guessing and slow going on other projects.

I finished the most delicious book last night - True Believers by Kurt Andersen. It was a book written just for me, I think. Well, me and all the other me's my age. It's a fictional memoir of a woman exactly my age and paints a crystal clear crisp picture of the late 60's and early 70's. It was a delight to read.

I have a couple of choices for next Audible book. I think I'll wait until tonight and make a last minute decision. I'm still enjoying Working Stiff in my Kindle. It's a non fiction by a medical examiner in New York City. It's ghoulish and fascinating.

Time now to get up and get washing.
