Wheeeeere's Roomba?
Aug. 23rd, 2005 07:43 pmI guess when Roomba couldn't find any cash, it was too embarrassed to come home. I set it out tonight to do the bedroom, hallway and fish room and it never came home. It took me a while to find it. The front door was closed so I was pretty sure it had not escaped to downtown Seattle...
Finally I found it at the back of the bedroom closet. It was tricky to rescue but I got it.
I'm always amazed at how much junk it picks up. I got a lotta dust in this house! Thank goodness for Roomba. And next time, I'll block the closet.

Date: 2005-08-24 02:30 pm (UTC)It does come with a couple of 'invisible walls' - they are little things that are about half the size of a role of toilet paper and send out a beam. Roomba won't go through the beam.
It's a handy gadget but with all robots, I guess, you need to learn its limitations...
