Hello Susan
Date: 2014-11-05 03:02 pm (UTC)You have a lovely apartment and I love the colors you chose to decorate! I really like the little bears you are knitting and the cowl you made for your neck is lovely too. Did you make the afghan on the other chair?
Well, I will check in on you often. Say hi to Patricia once in a while! Ok! Have a lovely day Susan.

Date: 2014-11-05 04:31 pm (UTC)I did not make that afghan that's over the loveseat. It was made by a woman who used to be on Live Journal. She sent it to me after my Mom died a decade ago.
I have so many crochet projects going on. Most of them will get ripped out and the yarn reused. Mostly I'm just trying to figure out how to do various things. But I started a new cowl/capelet last night that is likely a keeper. It's on giant yarn with a P size hook! Your hat project sounds great. I made some baby hats a few years ago and learned that they were very difficult to give away. The hospitals all had too many already! But making them for adults who need them... never considered that... maybe after I get over this learn to crochet kick. Thanks for the idea!
I look forward to your checking in on me!

Re: Hello Susan
Date: 2014-11-05 09:08 pm (UTC)I have three Grandchildren that I don't get to see very often. They live in Maryland. They are my daughter's children. My Son lives in Arkansas . I don't see him very often either. They have their own lives and are very busy. I call them once a week and I visit their Facebook pages.
I am crocheting a black and gold hat today for my granddaughter. She and my Grandson asked for one. So I will get that done soon and send them. I hear Zoey meowing! She is so pretty! Is she hungry? I think she must love you very much. I saw her get in your lap and you gave her some loving a while ago. She seems to be a very sweet girl. My little Kyleigh (puppy) loves for me to sing to her when I hold her. She is so spoiled! But she is like a child to me.
Do you mind if I sit and watch you for a little while each day? By the way, I listened to the Amazon Kindle review with you a few minutes ago and I really enjoyed it. I want a new kindle for Christmas and I think I will get the new Kindle Voyage . Thanks for listening to it and allowing me to hear it too!
I made barbeQue Chicken and buttered rice and butter beans for our late meal today. We just eat two meals a day, a late breakfast/brunch and then a full meal around 3 PM. Then if we want a snack before bed we eat some oatmeal or something very light. Works for us!
Your capelet is looking lovely! I was surprised to see that you knew about Kernersville and Winston Salem! Small World huh! We spent over 20 years in the Air Force and lived many places but I've never been to Seattle. I've always thought your area would be beautiful to visit, but never got there.
Now I am not able to travel. I don't leave my home except for Doctor visits and Hospital stays. I can't even attend Church services anymore, but we have our service here at home.
My hubby takes very good care of me and we are happy. He is 65 and just retired. I am so glad to have him home . He is a sweetheart and loves to go fishing and work in the yard.
I usually check in on you around your time at noon and come back to see you several times until you go to bed. Does that make you uncomfortable? Hope not. I hope you have a good night.
take care
