I enjoyed visiting your Webcam and watching your sweet kitty, Zoey, playing with the yarn and getting into your lap for a nice warm snuggle and a nap. I see you knit and crochet quite a bit. I am 62 and have MS and I am in a wheelchair most of the time. I love to crochet and knit too. Right now I am working on an afghan for my bedroom. I just finished making 65 hats for a charity for my Church to give to the needy. I really enjoyed that. I also made an afghan for my hubby, a big one! He is 6 Ft. tall . He really likes it and it keeps him warm while watching TV. I am in Kernersville, North Carolina and it is starting to get really cold now. We are in the Western part of the state near the mountains. We had our first snow this week, but it didn't stick around long. I have a puppy girl , a papillion , that is my service dog. She is so sweet, she stays with me al the time. She takes my socks off my feet and picks up anything I drop on the floor. She takes clothes out of the dryer for me and lets me know when the stove or microwave oven or phone or doorbell buzzes. I can hear them most of the time, but it's good that she lets me know. She is very active and loves to play. She entertains us with her energy and antics.
You have a lovely apartment and I love the colors you chose to decorate! I really like the little bears you are knitting and the cowl you made for your neck is lovely too. Did you make the afghan on the other chair?
Well, I will check in on you often. Say hi to Patricia once in a while! Ok! Have a lovely day Susan.

Hello Susan. Today has been a busy day for me. I did some cooking and spent some time talking to my twin sister over Skype. She lives in Durham . We talk everyday over coffee in the morning and crochet together. But by lunchtime we have to close and get our chores done. We are both handicapped and have husbands that are retired. We enjoy our time together and try to visit in person when we can.
I have three Grandchildren that I don't get to see very often. They live in Maryland. They are my daughter's children. My Son lives in Arkansas . I don't see him very often either. They have their own lives and are very busy. I call them once a week and I visit their Facebook pages.
I am crocheting a black and gold hat today for my granddaughter. She and my Grandson asked for one. So I will get that done soon and send them. I hear Zoey meowing! She is so pretty! Is she hungry? I think she must love you very much. I saw her get in your lap and you gave her some loving a while ago. She seems to be a very sweet girl. My little Kyleigh (puppy) loves for me to sing to her when I hold her. She is so spoiled! But she is like a child to me.
Do you mind if I sit and watch you for a little while each day? By the way, I listened to the Amazon Kindle review with you a few minutes ago and I really enjoyed it. I want a new kindle for Christmas and I think I will get the new Kindle Voyage . Thanks for listening to it and allowing me to hear it too!
I made barbeQue Chicken and buttered rice and butter beans for our late meal today. We just eat two meals a day, a late breakfast/brunch and then a full meal around 3 PM. Then if we want a snack before bed we eat some oatmeal or something very light. Works for us!
Your capelet is looking lovely! I was surprised to see that you knew about Kernersville and Winston Salem! Small World huh! We spent over 20 years in the Air Force and lived many places but I've never been to Seattle. I've always thought your area would be beautiful to visit, but never got there.
Now I am not able to travel. I don't leave my home except for Doctor visits and Hospital stays. I can't even attend Church services anymore, but we have our service here at home.
My hubby takes very good care of me and we are happy. He is 65 and just retired. I am so glad to have him home . He is a sweetheart and loves to go fishing and work in the yard.
I usually check in on you around your time at noon and come back to see you several times until you go to bed. Does that make you uncomfortable? Hope not. I hope you have a good night.
take care
Patricia Huff
