Gmail just added a feechur I've really wanted. You can now set it up to use different 'from' addresses. So now I can use Gmail to send from my gmail address or from my susandennis.com address. Very handy.

I see they have a new IM thing, too, but I really am not a huge IM fan so I'll probably leave that one alone.

I canceled my ohsolame dental insurance last month. I got an email acknowledging that it had been canceled as of 8/1. Today I discovered that they sucked out the monthly payment from my checking account. ??!! So maybe cancel means something else in the world of dental insurance.

This reminded me to call the dentist and see if they had actually paid anything. The billing person had left for the day but Devon looked at my account and said 'oh we usually wait a month before we get worried'. Look again there, Tooth Fairly, it's been 6 weeks! She is going to have the billing person call me tomorrow. I don't expect to get much but I would like to at least have the 'nofuckingway we will pay' letter. For my scrapbook. You understand.

I am only personally about 3 Feet Under. I only watch the series 6 Feet Under on DVD from Netflix. Last year's season just came out this week - Disk 1 is on the way to me. So I have been trying very hard not to watch or read or hear any spoilers from the series finale. I have heard one so far and that one isn't a shocker.

I did this with Sex and the City. Avoided all news - which wasn't easy - and finally did get to see the final season without knowing what happened.

But, also new this week on DVD is the 2nd season of ALF. I never even thought to look for the 1st season. I loved that show. I have ALF slippers and an ALF doll. I also liked Mork and Mindy and still like BBC's My Hero. But ALF was the best. So stacked up behind Six Feet Under is the first season of ALF.

We love My Hero! Our local PBS station was carrying it, but they announced recently that they wouldn't be showing it anymore. Very sad, as we only saw up through the 2003 season. As far as we can figure out it isn't available on DVD. :-(

I'm planning to make Daisy a Thermo-Tot costume for Halloween. Not sure exactly how I'm going to go about doing that, but it should be amusing.
