The Comcast ordeal turned out to be not so bad after all. I went to their web site and got my bill for reference and then looked up the correct number and noted that they have chat available for billing issues/questions!

So, I chatted. This was far less painful than a phone call AND I now have a transcript.  Win and win.  I got the numbers - Bill without internet. Bill without internet and premium channels.  I can carve that sucker down to half!  But, saving $$ isn't really the goal here.  I'm on the fence about the premiums.

Anway I have the info I wanted. I will now be able to better analyze my options.

Zoey is being cat weird - which I think is redundant. She's now begging for the canned food that she has, for the last 2 years, rejected totally. I give her a 3rd of a small can and she gobbles it.  She leaves some and then goes back in about 15 minutes and polishes the rest off.

She's also restless. Last night she was so all over the place that I drug out her battery operated laser and fired it up. She chased it around for a while and then sat and watched it.  This morning she kept trying to turn it on herself.  She should be taking her cat nap but is wandering around meowing.

Weird cat.

My cat does this with canned food, too. He's going through a phase right now where he more or less shuns it, but he's overweight and I know it's the way to go in terms of helping him slim down, so I put a lot of wet food out with a little dry and eventually he'll give in and eat the wet food. Fickle thing.
