One more thing
Aug. 29th, 2005 08:02 pmI really am afraid of using up all my good karma in one day.
I ordered a used HP printer from Techforless.com. I couldn't get it to work. Techforless offered to replace it. They sent me a prepaid UPS label for the return. They sent me a new printer. (Well, these are reconditioned but new to me.) As well all now know, I couldn't get that one working either but now I know it's not the printer's fault.
This morning I sent Techforless a note explaining that their printer was probably fine but I couldn't make it work on my system. I said in the email that I did not expect a refund at all but that if they wanted to send me another prepaid UPS label, I'd send it back to them.
I got an email within an hour with a label and note explaining that they understood and would absolutely refund the money I had paid for the first printer. They apologized for not refunding the original shipping charges.
See what I mean about my biorhythms?
