Pox on Pledge Week
Oct. 5th, 2002 08:26 amOk, it's not fair that we have two very good NPR stations. I know that. But it's really really not fair that both of them have pledge week in the same week. That just sucks. I like to pretend that my NPR people are not reading off pieces of paper and really are that witty when they tell me what's happening in the world. During pledge week I find out that they are simply good readers and without the script they are really bumbling idiots. So this morning, instead of my usual 5 hours of NPR news, shows and entertainment. We're having a morning of silence.

Our other radio stations - the commercial ones have a lot of junk on them.
