This may be the best photo I ever get of my wonderful neighbors. They and their cleaning lady are taking down their outdoor tree. (They took down the indoor tree earlier in the week.)

These guys would likely be totally freaked by how much time I spend watching them and missing them when they even go out for the evening and conjuring up their back story.

To be honest, I think I would be a little freaked if I thought a neighbour was taking my photograph to put up on a social media site.

It is as you say, just as well I don't live across the street from you. We have privacy laws, which do not allow the posting of photographs online without the permission of the subject, I would be surprised if the US does not have similar laws.

If we did(do?) have such a law, it's a law that would be broken a million times a day. By everyone. What about vacation photos? Street shots? And what is the evil? I don't get it. But, then, I have 2 webcams always on in my living room and available to be seen by anyone with access to the internet so clearly I am missing the 'privacy' gene.

You may well be missing the 'privacy' gene, but perhaps your neighbours have it. You have the right to have as little privacy as you wish, but others have the right to be a private as they wish. You just didn't give them a choice. And yes I get that you have no way to contact them, that being so you don't know what they would chose.

Ok, I'll concede that you disapprove of my actions and ideas about it. I hope we can still be friends anyway. But, I will understand it you can't deal with me and my actions. You won't be the first.

Turns out he wasn't kidding and so strongly objected to my attitude that he dumped me! Makes me wonder what/who he's hiding from... Wonder if there's not a really good story there. But, still, yes! hahahaha

I have never met them and have no idea how to get in touch with them. I think they are wonderful because they always look like they are enjoying each other and their guests and they string up pretty lights and they just look like wonderful guys.

But, 1. they have been here a year now :) and 2. I have zero way to contact them. If I had a drone... pie by drone would it it for sure!
