My Gmail is back. That was a sucky 6+ hours. How can someone with 14 bazillion email addresses and accounts get so locked into one of them in such a short amount of time? I've only had the account for 15 months. And my life is in there.

When it's up it's perfect. It's quick and uncluttered and has all the filing and forwarding features I want. The spam filter they use really works. And I can get to it from anywhere - fast and pain-free.

But, when it's not up, my life gets real complicated really fast. This is not good.

And not at all connected, my cellphone just got a call from 757 area code. Who the hell is calling me from Virginia. I did a reverse look up and it's Geeks On Call in Norfolk. Probably I'm their wrong number du jour.

they probably want you. It isn't your brother's business is it? What about your printer?

lol, the first time mine was on vibrate, it scared the hell out of me. I thought it was an electrical short.

Well, If you missed a good obscene call, sorry.

Let us know if you find out.

My gmail hasn't been totally down, but its been r.e.a.l.l.y..s.l.o.w for the last day.

And your reasons for getting quickly hooked may be the same as mine. Its the one email address I can check from anywhere, and its sorting capabilities are unmatched by anyone else. I have to laugh when I see other services adding space and bragging that "now we're like gmail". I keep wanting to call them up and yell "its not the disk space stupid!".
