Well, this year sure sucks for new TV shows!! Out of my big long list, nearly none have survived. Very not good. Plus, my one absolutely favorite new show - Bravo's Breaking News - is only 13 episodes long and I only have 2 left. This is a series that another network (forget who) created and never aired and finally Bravo bought years after it was done. It's a great show but it's goner. And I think I've had about enough of Will and Grace.
My weekly taping schedule sure gets easier:
CSI Miami
Everwood
8 Simple Rules
Life with Bonnie
NYPD Blue
In-Laws
Frasier
Hidden Hills
Gilmore Girls
The Guardian
Presidio Med
MDs - borderline
Ed
The West Wing
Friends
Will & Grace - borderline
Good Morning Miami
ER
Without a Trace - borderline
That was Then
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
Hack - borderline
Robbery Homicide Division
The District
For the People
The Practice
Boston Pubic
And daily:
Caroline Rhea
The Screen Savers
The Daily Show
Forgot to add:
House Invaders
Manchild
Parkinson
And even since posting this, this morning, I've now watched another episode of Everwood. It's now absolutely off the list - they crossed the line on one of my pet peeves.

Date: 2002-10-06 10:29 am (UTC)I think Will and Grace is about to jump the shark with this baby business. Have you seen the website: http://jumptheshark.com It tells you the various formulas for disaster of our favorite shows.

Our Bravo is all screwed up as they switched the west coast times and the cable company hasn't caught up up. So it's very hard to find when stuff is on. Grrrrr I hate it when people screw ith my TV schedule!

Date: 2002-10-06 01:37 pm (UTC)I watch MDs because of a secret crush on John Hannah, but that chick from The It Factor and the show's too-close-overall resemblance to M*A*S*H get on my nerves.
I'm putting Frasier on my borderline list, after the last episode, which was 20 minutes of setup to a fifteen second joke that wasn't that funny.

Date: 2002-10-06 02:17 pm (UTC)Frasier... I should have given it a boarderline. I think I only watch it to see how they screw up Seattle references. Even that is no longer that much fun...

Date: 2002-10-07 12:41 pm (UTC)I recorded that Alice and Bram thing but I knew from the previews it was a stinker plus I'm not wild about him or about her. And, you know what? I'm a little pissed that Becker got rid of Reggie. I didn't watch last night's yet so maybe they make it up to me.
Thanks for bringing me up to speed on John Doe.
