A pay cut already but it's fine

susandennisI got a snail mail letter from Social Security saying they are cutting the amount of money they give me... already! One payment and I'm demoted.
But, it's actually good news. They are going to start taking my Medicare payments out of the Social Security payment. This means that really truly, I finally was successful in stopping the state of Washington from paying my Medicare bill!! Yahoo!
They could still come back and make me pay for the past 12 months and it would be fair but at least I am no longer 'stealing' from the state government.
My monthly dole will now be $105 less than it was this month. Fine by me. I'd rather they go ahead and pay themselves than make me pay it.
Go Government!!
