susandennisIt's only the 3rd inning but it's nice anyway.
My swim was very great. I figured up the GPS and suggested we not do interstate highway.
I got the most delightful trip along the lake! It was really lovely. I'm totally doing that again.
IHOP was packed but once I got a table, I had impeccable service with a delicious breakfast. $13. Even with wildly overtip, it was a cheap breakfast. I'm totally doing that again, too.
Walmart was across the street and they had my bear stuffing - 10 pounds at $20. A heck of a deal.
As I was leaving Walmart today there was a ratty old white woman sitting on a bucket with an unreadable cardboard sign begging for money. Silently, I looked down my nose at her for blocking traffic and just generally being her. As I got closer to where she was, she got up. I thought Oh fuck, she's coming to my car window! But, then I realized she was standing to greet two black teenaged kids in hoodies with pants down their ass. Those two kids handed her bills, accepted a hug of thanks and went on their way. She went back to her bucket.
Gave me some massive food for thought all the way home.
