It's getting warm in here. I had a fight last night with the comforter. Zoey, apparently got tired of the fight and took her kitty self to the fish room. The comforter ended up on the floor and she's happily napping on it there now. She's otherwise the same. She wakes up and walks around and drinks some water and maybe eats a kibble and then goes back to sleep. She spent some time in my lap last night which was nice.

Eons ago, I bought some kitty treats. She normally does not like any treats but these, she loves. Sadly, when I got them, I took them out of their packaging and put them a dish with a lid and so, now, I have no clue what they are. She turned up her nose at the wet food last night and even pawed around the bowl which is her way of saying NFW. But she did gobble down some of these treats. Happily I still have a healthy supply.

I'm off to swim this morning and then to find some breakfast. Tomorrow is the one Sunday in the year that I don't even try to go out for breakfast. Fighting the Mother's Day crowds is not worth it. I have not had a lot of luck finding a great place between here and the Saturday pool but I have another spot in my sights this morning so maybe.

I'll have to revisit bed clothes situation this afternoon. I think it's time to give up on good snuggly sleep until October. Sigh.

It's been warmer here lately as well. We had all of the house windows open for the day.


I try my best not to go out during any holiday. Waayy to many people for my comfort level. Especially when they are all crowded in to a restaurant and yammering on an on.
