I just stripped the bed, replaced the comforter, loaded the washing machine, changed out the shower curtain... in other words there was activity in the house. And while she did not try to participate, Zoey did watch with more interest than I have seen in a couple of days. Now she's out on the terrace looking for a bird. I'm a little encouraged that maybe she's on the mend.

On the other hand, I'm not sure she's eating. I've seen her drink water. But the litter box is just as it was yesterday afternoon. No new activity. BUT, I rarely check it every day. It is huge and I usually only check it every 3 or 4 days when I clean it. So... no change in 18-20 hours may well be the norm for her.

While I mourn sleeping the cold buried in the comforter, I sure do like the look of Summer bedware better. So neat and tidy.

On the other hand, I really need to do something about that catch all thing on the left there. It holds important stuff and keeps it very handy but it looks like shit.

A bunch of years ago, I found this woman's website of fabulous shower curtains. I love them so much. I now have several and usually swap them out with the seasons but sometimes just when I feel the need. No one really ever sees this bathroom but me. It's like having my own secret, private art.

I've been distracted by a biscillian things while writing this entry. And, every time I got up, Zoey followed me and just now I caught her munching on some kibble. I think I am now very encouraged. Oh! now she's up on the bear chair and washing her face. She hasn't had the energy to do either in days. Nice.
