Drugs are in the house
Oct. 8th, 2002 12:35 pmI decided to go at least see about getting these prescriptions filled. So I went to a pharmacy and handed the snotty lady my two pieces of paper and told her that I wanted to know how much it would cost before she bothered to fill then. She handed me a form and told me to fill it out. I hate forms. I hate being told to fill out shit. And, any more, I'm leery of sharing any information by which I can be bombarded with sales crap. BUT I did a half assed job and handed it back to her.
And, for some reason, my insurance card flashed in my mind. That part is very strange because except for scraping stuff off of glass, I'd never even used it before. I dug it out of my purse and handed it to her and she disappeared. Then she came back and said that one of them was going to cost me $8 and one was going to cost me $4.20. I was shocked. I was expecting $80 and $42.00. So I got 'em filled and bought nail polish with the savings.
My jaw is beginning to show a bruise... I need to work on a story about someone beating me up in case the bruse gets any worse. But, first, I'm off to nosh on the Stouffer's Mac and Cheese (with sour cream to dollop on it) which is now ready.
It has occurred to me that I am now one tooth closer to being a toothless crone.
