My favorite fathers

My brother just posted this on Google Plus. My brother was 29 and Daddy was 59 (7 years younger than I am now).  Bill was in the Navy and Daddy joined him for the Tiger Cruise part of his deployment (last leg).  Bill and Daddy had had some rough years but this was a glorious few days for both of them. Daddy talked about this trip ad naseum. He was so proud. And Bill was so thrilled to be able to share something good with him.

I don't think I've ever seen this photo before. God that that. And I cannot believe my Mother let Daddy go out of town without getting a haircut first. Daddy died in August of 1999 (in Charleston -ohmygodwasitfuckinghot - SC).
