Timmy is back in the well

susandennis5:22 this morning, Zoey was all over my face, meow, meow, meow. I encouraged her with my arm to get off the bed and then she got on the night stand and proceeded to knock shit off - including a mostly full tumbler of water. She took a bit of a break after a while but came back with more urgency when the radio came on. She would not stop messing with me.
I finally got up to get my coffee and I dished her own some food and then I came back to bed. Soon, there was a crash in the kitchen. I went to check and she had knocked her bowl off the counter. Bowl shards and cat food on the kitchen floor. Good morning! I rescued some of the food and put it in another bowl and she dug right in like her last meal was a month ago.
Now she is on the end of the bed fast asleep. Sigh.
She goes through cycles of FEED ME RIGHT THIS MINUTE or Food? Why Would I want that?? She always has a giant bowl of dry kibbles. When I first got her, I had another cat. To keep them both happy, I started feeding Zoey on the counter while Betty ate on a mat on the floor. Zoey still eats on the counter because it is easier for me. When she wants food, she'll sit on her spot and meow. When she's on the counter to watch me and not hungry she just sits on the other end and doesn't say anything.
Guess I'll have to go back to Goodwill and get her another food bowl.
This morning my plans are to be at the gym when it opens at 8 and come home right after my swim and have some breakfast and then walk over to the International District and see what their festival is like. The Mariner game today is at 1 and then that's it until Friday because of the All Star break.
