First, the TV watching update. Killer Instinct. I liked this one better than most of the new shows. It's got its problems but it's also got a very cute lead guy. Oh and if you have a think about hairy spiders, you probably want to skip the pilot episode.

I watched two sit coms everyone is talking about - Earl and Chris and they were both ok. Nothing has actually knocked my socks off so far. I have season passes for a lot of them proving only that while I have standards, they are low. E-Ring is still, so far, the only reject of the new season.

Until six months ago, I'll bet I have had 4 nose bleeds in my entire life. If that many. Now, I've doubled the score. They are not raging, ohmygodputyourheadbackanddon'tmove nose bleeds or ones that threaten hemorrhaging. These are just minor, annoying, afraidnowtoblowmynosehard ones. It's yet another one of those things that may be old age, may be attitude, may be fatal or just may be whatever. It does ensure that I'm vigilant about always having a tissue in my pocket or nearby.

After 18 months of riding the same bus every day along the same route every day, today the route changed. Not significantly. They just moved one stop a couple of blocks and it now means we take a different turn and for about 4 blocks, see different stuff. After 18 months, it's a big deal. And, of course, many of the regulars were bitching. Should be interesting this afternoon, in the daylight.

Between the new cut and the new dye job, I am having an excellent hair day.

Nosebleeds

Heh. I'm just the opposite; I had fairly frequent nosebleeds, often for no apparent reason, as a child, but they got rarer and rarer as I got older. The last one I can remember was, annoyingly, while I was at lunch during a business conference somewhere -- I suddenly looked down and saw this bright red spot on my bright yellow dress shirt. Fortunately it didn't bleed very much and I was able to dash to the men's room and get the spot out before it stained. That was well over 20 years ago.

My husband and I are getting nose bleeds regularly lately. Not bad ones, just keep a kleenex nearbyish. We have no clue why either.
