Alvin's in trouble
Oct. 10th, 2002 07:24 amThe other two chipmonks can rest easy. Yet again today Alvin has a viable backup. My cheek looks just like it did yesterday but it feels ever so much better. The bruising is pretty much gone and the jaw is not nearly as sensitive to outside touch. Plus, inside, it is feeling much much better. Remind me never to do that again.
It's getting wonderfully cooler here every day. This past week, especially, has been glorious sleeping and snuggling weather. My Mom is sending me reports of the hurricane du jour (today it's Kyle). Hurricane warnings mean hot and muggy weather. Rain that doesn't cool - it just steams. I'm so grateful to live where humidity is something we have to pipe in. It looks like from the forecast that it might be chilly enough this weekend for a little fire in the fireplace. That would be really nice.
Time now for me to get to work here... Not a hugely busy day ahead but one where I'll likely have enough to keep me busy.
