I finally noticed the schools thing on user pages and, curious moi clicked on through. Next thing you know, I've got my schools and my attendance dates on my user page. And then I click on the schools.... There are a handful of women who list my high school - and a little bigger handful of people who list my college. Most all list attendance dates in this decade. I'll betcha if any of them click through to me they will be shocked to discover someone who attended back when fire was invented actually has a working account on their LiveJournal. I think if I were their age, I'd be horrified.

Well, *that* was interesting. I put in the ones I recall, and was shocked to find that the University of California at Berkeley is not on the available list. I had to submit it for approval.

My only thought is that Californians tend to find school credentials bragging (this is true).

None of my schools are listed either, and I know there's at least two other people who went to the same schools as I did (albeit at different times).

I didn't add mine, though. I'm not sure that I consider it bragging, but it's not really my cup of tea, all the same.

You went to Salem Academy? The Internet is a small place. :) I grew up in Stokes County, just north of you.

I noticed the schools thing the other day too. I didn't even both to enter mine when I discovered that everyone else listed for my schools were either still going or had just graduated.

It's only fun if everyone plays! My highschool has a ton of kids listed who are current students or recent grads too. I'm the only one who doesn't have a 2 as the first digit. But if everyone does what you did then you'd never find anyone who isn't 16.

I submitted my high school. Surprisingly several people from my 98% redneck graduating class went on to become techies; hopefully someone wil notice.
