After my swim, I sat in the gym lobby and called all four local Apple stores. Three had never heard of the Misfit Speedo Shine which is to go on sale there today. One told me that it was an app for the iPhone and free.

I came home and ordered it online. And then wrote a sad note to my contact at Misfit. I shared with her my disappointment and asked her to share it with the people who gave a shit. Oh and a posted a tweet calling out Speedo and Misfit.

Now I am moving on.

I think I'm going to walk over to the teryiaki place and get dinner. Their chicken/beef combo is plenty for 2 meals and saves nicely. They are only open for lunch but I don't like eating that much for lunch.

Mmmm, teriyaki! I have one that is between here and work and end up getting something there almost every day en route so I can stuff my face before clocking in. Even cold later, it still tastes good, though I'm sort of yearning for different flavors or different kinds of food. The only convenient places between here and my work are the teriyaki place and Subway, and a Mexican food drive thru that doesn't store nearly as well (and I'd have to take extra plates/whathaveyou with me to work to reheat it since it all comes in styrofoam).

How frustrating for the Shine!
