My email is back. Whew and good. I hope the folks at the ISP get a nice, relaxing weekend. It must be hell when stuff is broken and you can't get it fixed and on top of that everyone is screaming at you.

My sister is visiting my mother. She is supposed to have gotten there by now but with my sister you never know. The world revolves around her so she does not suffer the accountability issues that most people have to deal with. I am grateful that I do not have to interact with her very much at all. If Mom is broken, we exchange a few emails so she can list out all the reasons why she cannot help out and that's it. If Mom is fine, I have no contact with my sister at all which is exactly the amount of contact I prefer.

I am not bitching about the heat. But... On days when it isn't really cool and it is rainy, I wear my raincoat. I love my raincoat. It is very lightweight and has 47 bazillion pockets and hood. But, it is like wearing a dry cleaning bag. Hot and sweaty. Now, if it would actually rain - instead of only threaten - that would be better. But, it could be really hot and it could be really humid so I am grateful that it's not.

I have no big plans for the weekend. Actually, I don't have any little plans either. It's the last weekend of Mariner baseball and my Tivo's are kind of packed so I guess there will be a lot of watchin' and knittin'.

Oh I watched Commander and Chief last night. I was glad to see the ishegayornot detective from Homicide Life on the Streets has a new job. Being out of work for so long seems to have aged him but he makes a good consort, I think. It was not great TV. I didn't kill the season pass but I can't believe the network isn't going to give it the axe.

Crocs now has their Georgie boots available on their website in a bunch of colors. BUT, can you actually buy them? No. Their website is screwed up. I sent a note on Monday and got an answer back Monday afternoon saying they were aware of the problem, working on it and I would be able to order on Tuesday. They did, at least, put up a note so that when you try to order now, it tells you you can't. But, you still can't order. These people need help. I don't remember ever having as hard a time spending money with any company as this one. Amazing.
