Gettin' 'er done!!

The first time I worked from home, in the mid 1990's, I had one client. He was a very fun, cool guy who picked up pretty quickly that baseball was the best background noise for my productivity. When I first started, I had basic cable which did not include Mariner games. He fixed that promptly and upgraded my cable with the bill paid for I think a whole year.

I did not waste today. I made new Croc liners - way better than earlier prototypes... I got it nailed now. Unfortunately they are coffee brown cause that's the only fleece I had on hand but real colors are on order and will be here Friday. I took the previous versions that didn't cut it as liners and refashioned them into nice house socks.

I made thumb holes in my second favorite hoodie. And then I picked the fabrics, cut out the pieces and gave them a vinyl backing for the next pocketbook.

And I did a load of laundry. And then cleaned up the sewing area.

And the Mariners came from behind to win the game. All in all, not a bad afternoon.

Do you follow the Seahawks/ My sister (she lives in Kent), said the media is treating tonight's Monday night game as if it were the Super Bowl.

I only follow baseball. I haven't noticed the media are any more out of whack about the Seahawks more than usual. Breaking news around here happens when a team member farts. My elderly widowed neighbor down the hall, just this weekend, got Seahawks green detail painted on her already Seahawks blue car.

All I care about is when I will not be able to take my car out of the garage which is basically 3 hours before and after every home game.

Not sure I would paint my car! I love the color green, but Packer green is not a pretty green.
