Just the nicest thing

susandennisI just sent my brother a little 'thinking of you' note. The shop closes in about 45 mins and the leaving tech will be gone and come Monday things will be very different.
He messaged back that his remaining two techs invited him and his wife out for pizza tonight! These two kids are about the last people on earth I would have guessed would even have thought of such a gesture much less actually acted on it. They are great techs but not too sophisticated or even terribly mature yet.
But that they grasp their boss might need a little extra care tonight... and follow up with a plan just nearly makes me teary. And really touched my brother. Just the nicest thing.
