susandennisI slept fine last night. Woke up again after the first couple of hours but this time went right back to sleep. And so feel way less squirrely today.
My friend, Brody, and I were the only 2 in the pool for the first half hour this morning and then the hoards came in! Every lane was doubled up with waiting. I wish people would circle swim but I learned to quit suggesting it since no one was interested but me. The point of circle swimming is to make room for more swimmers. Most swimmers, I think, would like to make less room. What.Ev.Er.
Finally, though after about 20 minutes of crowded, every left! I do love swimmers who come for 15 minutes and leave. I don't understand it but I love it.
I came home and made myself an excellent breakfast and now I'm finishing my coffee.
I might go to Costco today. I had decided that I didn't need Costco any more and paying for it was a waste of money since I don't go often. But... then I remembered I cannot get that bacon anywhere else. And![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
timbear reminded me that it's the best place to pick up a deal on thumb drives... and those few times when they have those white cupcakes with white buttercream frosting... and other stuff... worth it. And now I have a jones to go.
It will be crowded but I don't care. I can park at the far end of the parking lot and make my fitness band happy.
The other project today, I think, will be a cover for my sewing machine. Someone left a Seattle Mariner giveaway apron on the free shelf. It will make an excellent sewing machine cover.
There are two baseball games today but I'm really only invested in the one that starts at 4:30.
I think I'll wash the breakfast stuff and hit the road.
