The New TV Guide
Oct. 12th, 2005 09:28 amI forgot to mention that the new TV Guide arrived yesterday. Due to my mysterious free subscription, I get it every week now and this week is the new, improved, big version and I must say, it is quite nice. It's no longer the major grid from hell of every TV show that was scheduled when the data was sent for printing which appeared to be a good month before the mag got to my house. It is now a nicely sized, nice looking kind of People Magazine of TV. I may even pay them some money if, when my free subscription ends in December, they ask nicely.

Date: 2005-10-12 04:35 pm (UTC)I haven't seen it yet. I work in a doctor's office and we started getting a stack of them free every week, so since there are only a few of us working there we put the rest in the lobby and hope the patients take one when the walk off with our newest single edition of PEOPLE.

Date: 2005-10-12 07:04 pm (UTC)We only ever got TV Guide for the schedule, which has been getting less and less useful over the years anyway. And TiVo knows all this stuff anyway. So we'll probably let our sub lapse when it runs out (almost two years from now, unfortunately).

I saw the picture first, and thought it was a new pattern you'd tried.
