susandennisI don't write books because I don't have the knowledge or the imagination it takes to create either a non-fiction or fiction. I can't even begin to come up with a plot of any kind. And I really don't have the interest. I love reading books, I've just never been interested in writing one.
I don't wrote computer programs because while I understand the basics, I don't really know any one language well enough to even speak it haltingly, I have do not have the kind of imagination that it takes to design a program or application. Hello World aside, I usually can't even define the requirement.
But, now I have an idea and a requirement and I wonder if I know enough to pull it off. I want a non-rss blog reader. Really I want a bookmark page on steroids. I want to see the blogs in their home design, not in the sterile rss reader environment.
From the Browser:
I think maybe I can do this with an asp page holding the URLs in a database. I'm not sure about the modified-since indication but the rest of it, I think I can manage. Maybe. I need to think on it some more.

I want to go to a web page and see a list of links (ordered in simple buckets)
AND
I want, a way to enter new links onto the page
For extra credit, I'd love some kind of indicator of whether the page had been modified since I last clicked on the link
AND
The ability to delete a link off the page
