susandennisI did go in to the dentist today. He was on time. He took less than the 5 minutes he said it would take. He looked only and said everything looked better than he expected. He thanked me for coming in. And he said, oh so gently "somday, if you have time, you really might consider coming in for a cleaning". He really is a very nice guy. I am so mean to him. And I will go in for a cleaning when chickens get lips, when donkeys fly, when hell freezes over, etc.
I also decided to stick with the Dell order. We have a guy here at work who is a hardware guru. I got him to look at some of the alternatives I was considering and he said 'you know what? I think you are going to be happiest with the Dell, really.' He knows of what he speaks so I am happy.
The 'hood is already filling up with Monday Night Football action. I think most of the folks here are going to split about 3ish. The lot they park in told them they have to be out by 3 but no one seems to know what the 'or else' equals. Since huge crowds do not generally affect my 1/3 block commute, I might have a difficult time 'selling' my leaving early. But, heck, if I'm the last one here, I only have to sell to me and I'm way easy.
