The Mom Report

I got an email from Polly saying that Mom got all moved in but that the telephone service didn't get switched yet.  So no computer. It's supposed to get switched by midnight tonight.  But, all else is good. 

She said the TiVo is working which is great.  Now, let's just hope once the phone line is hooked up TiVo will call home again for updates.  The modem is a little flaky sometimes.  And I have a backup for it but I'll betcha it got tossed.  Oh well.  We'll cross that bridge...

Mom asked her to let me know.  I'll try giving Mom a call in the morning and we'll see what her side of the story is, but sounds like it wasn't too traumatic.

I hope I don't have to go through all that too soon with my mother. I think you're a great daughter.

Thanks. My Mom is easy to be a good daughter for. She makes me nuts but she did have the grace to stay 3,000 miles from here!
