First World Annoyance

I use a lot of tissues. I love the square boxes. I can fit/hide them around the house easily. But, I hate hate hate opening a new box.  The first 10+ tissues are just a waste of shredded mess. I've tried all brands and all are the same. I don't get why someone hasn't solved this horrible problem!

This morning was the first time since last Fall that I drove to the gym in daylight.  And it was daylight enough so that I know even going a half hour earlier tomorrow will no longer be in the mystery and comfort of the dark. I am not a night owl. By any stretch but I do love the dark of morning. Driving to the pool in the dark. Swimming with night still going on through the windows is just nice. This morning I had to switch to dark goggles midway through my swim. And so the long days start. Oh well. It's not like it's a surprise.

I have no plans today outside of the sewing area. The bits for the first doll are already cut out and waiting for me.

Tissue boxes

I usually rip the top off the tissue boxes off. I no longer have pets so I dont know if this would encourage Zoey to tear them up or not. Love your new dolls by the way.

Interesting. I'm not sure I'd like the way that would look but it's sure worth a try. I doubt Zoey would care. Thanks.

What if you cut the bottom off the new tissue box, cut the top off an empty one and slid the two together so there was more wiggle room?

I'd really rather buy a box of tissues that worked correctly. I'll probably give them up when I run out.
