Turns out, I pretty seriously miscalculated the stuffing situation. I made two dolls and ran completely out in the sewing room. And I had only about a half a bear left in the living room.

Nearly simultaneously with the finishing of doll #2 and this realization, Fed Ex arrived wiht more stuffing!!

Good thing I ordered two boxes. And here they are. With me for perspective.

Here's what it looks like out of the box.

And here's how much it grows when I remove the twist tie!

And here are the two dolls from this morning.

It tells me "this photo is no longer available" for the one showing how much it grows. I really want to see this!

Wow, the fluff grew like crazy!

I love your dolls. They are all so cute, and we have the same tastes in color.

Holy mackrel!!!! That is some serious stuffing!! Hahahaha! Well, you probably won't run out again any time soon.

I love these two dolls. The jaunty scarf on the Red-Riding-Hood/Amelia Earhart doll is especially adorable.

Wow, the owls on that doll's dress! :) <3

I'll soon run out of toy stuffing myself, and I'm still looking for something that holds shape better than the "fluffy cloud" I currently have. I can see that yours is of the same kind, but there must be some difference in texture or something... no matter how much I stuff, squeezing my knitted toys leaves dents in them, and for some reason everybody wants to squeeze them! I'll have to ask around again.

How much time does it take you to make a doll?

Total "lol" on the growing stuffing. On my phone I have to tap each photo to see it, so it was like...a particularly rewarding series of taps. Nice.

It's amazing how every single one has an individual personality! The first here (with the scarf) seems to be a real optimist -- someone with a sense of humor. I think of the name Beatrice. The second seems to be a college student who double majors in science and the humanities; she is very grounded. I think of her as Chloe. :)

Favorite so far ...
