At 7:30 p.m. Friday night, Mom finally got phone service.  But, no DSL.  I talked to about a bascillion people at Bell South and it basically sounds like for reasons no one can seem to come up with, they canceled her DSL service.  BUT, her records show she has service so they cannot restore it.  HOWEVER, her DSL account is disconnected so she has no access. 

And, there is nothing anyone can do outside of the billing department.  The billing department will be back on Monday.

At least she has phone service.  Holy crap.
