I'm still operating under a cloud from last night's meeting. It will wear off. It's just lasting longer than usual. Plus I'm going through another one of those how long will I live phases. I hear about stuff happening in a year or two and my first thought is "wonder if I'll be around to see that?" It's not a sad or depressing thought, just a wonder.

Which reminds me that I need to finish up that last wishes thing for my brother. He's going on a cruise and be gone all week. I'd like to have it done for him before he goes. I'm going to do that this morning.

I had a nice swim mostly all by myself. I have about 15 minutes left in my current swimming book. I toyed with the idea of swimming on to finish it but decided it would be more fun to start off tomorrow with.

My new computer comes tomorrow. Windows computers are such a heavy lift to set up. At least this time I will have plenty of time and no pressure. The one it's replacing isn't dead yet.

Time to get on that document.

hahahaha wow. that took me a while to noodle out what you were suggesting. Sorry for the obscurring!

I meant 'heavy lift' as in lots of time and work not picking machine up. It's a laptop - I can manage alone :)

Plus, I think he's a Mac guy.

Are you interested in selling the box that is giving you fits, or no? If so, how much were you thinking?

No, not selling. For one thing, I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem but I have no way of knowing so I couldn't properly price it. And for another, I'm likely going to strip out and use the hard drives so it would pretty much be a gutless non-wonder of questionable leftover parts.
